The Bling Theory - Diamond Style & Hip-Hop

No matter what your age is , the word bling or bling-bling has either been heard from your children, Hip-Hop videos or songs on the radio, etc. in reference to jeweled flashy look on a person or apparel. This slang term (like others) has crept with the young Hip-Hop, Rap generation in the late 1990's among artists who showed off and/or spewed this term in their lyrics which has been a big part in the culture and very much prevalent today.

This word Bling is referred to mostly to Fashion Watches, Cellphones and teethcaps (better known as Grillz) covered in pretty, shiny Diamonds and/or Gemstones that represent diamond-like qualities used to glamorize a persons status as well as an item of signifigance, such as a expensive Timepieces, necklace, bracelet, earrings or Rings for the flashy effect for those who could afford this extravagent way of life by using real diamonds for the "over the top" look for those who followed this type of upcoming trend in the early days of Iced Out Bling.

Like most trends or fads they come and go, but only a few stand the test of time. The Iced-Out Bling look is very much in style today and has forged a name for itself in just about every Men's or Women's accessory in one way or another from Sunglasses to Handbags and more.

I'm sure some of you remember when computers and cellphones were only available to the elite or business types. Like most new and upcoming products the technology eventually trickles down to the everyday consumer and made affordable.

After about 2004 the word Bling-Bling pretty much was played out and the word Bling was sufficient and still used to this present day referring to almost anything shiny and extravagent looking amongst all cultures and lifestyles. Now with the use of Cubic Zirconia, Swarovski Crystals and Gemstones of that nature are mass produced, So anyone who wants the look can get it or have it made to your taste for that Iced Out Bling look whether its subtle or the over-the-top style you desire.

Today, there are many Discount Hip Hop style Watches, Necklaces and items that can be custom made to Bling making this trend available to everyone no matter what your style is from subtle to Over-the-top Iced Out Bling.
